Tag clouds are a way of visualizing the content of a site by looking at what topic areas are the most popular.



Explanation: The size of the tag increases as more stories are associated with a particular tag, therefore small tags have few stories and the largest tags have the most. Also, the longer period of time that has passed since a tag was last used, the dimmer/lighter the color of the tag. Conversely, the darker/bolder a tag, the more recently the tag was used. Clicking any tag will show you all the stories assigned to the tag.
