Value Engineered

When we initially began this project, the School had hired an outside engineer who was not familiar with our design principles and product technologies. After being told by the engineer that the project was not feasible, the School asked us to take over the engineering as well as the design, fabrication and installation of their HVAC systems. We delivered a state-of-the-art system that provides individually controlled temperature settings for a large 65,000 sq. ft. building containing classrooms and offices.

The design process involved many changes, some of them on short notice. The architects decided at one point to raise the ceilings in order to accommodate tall glass windows. We took these changes back to our office, modified the engineering specifications, adjusted our fabrication process, and finished the project on schedule at no extra cost to the School.
